Men's exotic skin shoes, genuine skins only
Every shoe in this collection is made with a genuine exotic skin: alligator, crocodile, caiman, ostrich, lizard, python, eel, or pirarucu. You will find dress shoes, loafers, and sneakers from Mauri, Belvedere, and Paul Parkman, many of them pairing an exotic skin with calfskin, patent, or fabric panels. Croc-embossed calfskin styles are not included here. You can find them in the croc-embossed leather shoes collection, clearly labeled.
Shop by skin: alligator shoes, crocodile shoes, ostrich shoes, and eel skin shoes. New to exotics? Start with 10 things you should know about exotic skin shoes.

Are these genuine skins?
Yes. Every shoe in this collection uses a genuine exotic skin, and the product title names it. Croc-embossed calfskin styles live in a separate collection and are always labeled embossed.
What is the difference between alligator and crocodile shoes?
Crocodile has a small sensory pore on each belly scale and a squarer, more uniform tile pattern. Alligator has no pores and larger, more irregular tiles. Both are supple and long-lasting with proper care.
How do I care for exotic leather shoes?
Use a conditioner made for reptile or exotic leathers, such as Saphir Reptan, every few months, and never regular shoe polish. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth, keep shoe trees in them, and store them in a dust bag away from direct sun.
Is it legal to buy exotic skin shoes?
Yes, in most of the US. International trade in crocodilian, python, and lizard skins is regulated under CITES. A few states restrict the sale of certain exotic skins, so call us before you order if you are unsure about yours.
