Our Hassle-Free Return Policy: Your Satisfaction is Our Priority
At DapperFam, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes returns are necessary, and we want to make the process as simple and convenient as possible for both parties involved. Our fair and balanced return policy is designed to protect your interests while maintaining a smooth and efficient experience. Please take a moment to review our policy details below:
Clear Communication:
When initiating a return, please clearly indicate the reason for the return and specify the size and type of hat you would like in exchange. Alternatively, you can let us know if you prefer a store credit. To facilitate this, we kindly request that you write your intent for return on the original packing slip included with your shipment. This will help us process your request promptly and accurately.
Responsibility for Return Shipping:
While DapperFam does not provide prepaid shipping labels for returned items, we ensure a fair approach. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs incurred when returning items to DapperFam. However, once an exchange is approved and processed, we will cover the expense of shipping the exchanged item back to you, eliminating any additional burden.
Secure Returns:
To guarantee a smooth return process, we advise adhering to the conditions described in our return policy. DapperFam cannot be held responsible for any item that is lost or damaged during transit or for returns that do not comply with our guidelines.
Efficient Processing Time:
Once we receive your returned item, our team will assess its condition and confirm its eligibility for a refund, exchange, or store credit. Please allow us 2-9 days to process your return request, including refunds for the original purchase price (minus shipping fees). Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
Timeframe for Returns:
To ensure that your request is handled promptly, please make a return request within 30 days of receiving your item. Should we not receive a return request within this timeframe, we will consider the purchase as satisfactory, and the sale will be deemed final.
Exchange Requests:
We understand that sometimes a different size or type of hat may better suit your preferences. One exchange per order is allowed, and any price difference in the requested item will be refunded or charged accordingly. Please include a phone number where we can reach you in case we have any questions regarding your return or exchange.
Pristine Condition:
To be eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit, all returned items must be in their original packaging and have the labels attached. This includes shoe bags, shoe horns, hat size reducers, and any other items included in the original shipment. Additionally, all items must be unworn, unopened, and in new condition. Please note that any indication of wear or attempts to modify the item, such as stretching, shrinking, or applying substances, will void DapperFam's return policy.
Non-Exchange Returns:
For returns that do not qualify for an exchange, there is a 10% restocking fee. This fee is applicable when choosing to refund the original form of payment. However, by selecting "Refund to Store Credit" during the return process, the 10% restocking fee can be waived.
Final Sale Items:
Please be aware that items labeled as "clearance," "end of season," "last chance," or similar promotions are considered final sale. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on these items.
Footwear Return Guidelines:
To ensure the integrity of footwear, please try and test it on carpeted surfaces only. Returned shoes must be in their original packaging with all attached tags, showing no visible signs of wear. Accessories and shoe care items must be unopened and unworn

HANDMADE, CUSTOM, BESPOKE and MADE-TO-ORDER (MTO) ITEMS
We proudly partner with the most skilled and talented artisans who manufacture luxurious bags and leather-goods for brands such as Prada, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and Loewe. We therefore stand by the quality of our products and brand.
- Understandably, each MTO order is produced strictly following the specifications entered therefore returns are not permitted.
- DapperFam guarantees that all items are made substantially in accordance with the specifications selected during the order creation / checkout. Material variations and minor imperfections may occur and shall not be a ground for a return or refund since all MTO shoes sold by DapperFam are handmade and custom-made for the client.
- Production issues caused by order comments made at checkout or separate emails shall not be a ground for a return or refund.
- Fitting issues shall not be a ground for a return or refund. For your own benefit, please verify that you have selected the correct product size and when necessary (for shoes) that you have measured your feet accurately.
- Returns requests on custom, made-to-order goods related to fitment, or perceived color inaccuracies will be denied.
- If you need to return your order due to a manufacturing defect, you can do so using our returns portal.
PARTIAL RETURNS
If you are returning for refund all or some of the items purchased in a single order, we will issue a credit card refund for the merchandise cost only. We will not issue a refund for the cost of the shipping.
If your order qualified for a Free Shipping offer, you can still request a refund on all or part of your order. In this scenario, if the value of the items kept drops below the amount that was required for free shipping, then a $10 shipping charge will be deducted from the amount that you receive back to your card.
CANCELLATIONS
We understand that mistakes in placing an order can happen from time to time - and you might want to cancel said order before it's fulfilled. We're happy to help.
A full refund will be issued minus 3% (transaction fees) if notified by phone within 1 business day of purchase, and prior to fulfillment.
Store credit will be issued for cancellation requests made on orders older than 24 hours.
